Ingredients
At least one clear #intention
Appropriate #frames
Lots of #pacing and #leading
Flexible access to an #associated and #dissociated perspective
Dashes of #patterninterruption if needed
#congruence – in the meeting and after
Directions
Clarify at least one #intention as the objective of the meeting.
Add a number of appropriate #frames, like an agenda and place and time of the meeting in order to achieve the meeting objective.
Prior to the meeting, share the meeting objective, agenda and any other background information with the meeting participants.
Serve the meeting with lots of #pacing and #leading to ensure that everyone are able to participate constructively. Make sure to switch between an #associated and #dissociated perspective in order to early detect any need for adaptations. In case of the meeting diverting from its agenda, add a #patterninterruption and remind of #intentions and #frames.
By the end of the meeting, check #congruence, i.e. that everyone agrees to the results of the meeting and their actions.
For continual improvement of meeting practices, add constructive feedback before adjourning the meeting, see separate recipe.
Enjoy!
NB1: The following #ingredients may cause a non-constructive atmosphere in meetings:
- Bad #I//#you-sorting
- Mis#pacing – the opposite of #pacing
- Mis#leading – the opposite of #leading
- #incongruence – the lack of consistency between the #ingredients described in the recipe.
